Here's a boardgame figure (from Massive Darkness, I think) speed-painted to act as some sort of giant orc or undernourished ogre in my 25mm megadungeon project. He was painted using contrast paints initially, which is why he's a bit glossy in the recesses. A coat of matt varnish should fix that.
Is he sized appropriately for 25MM ? He looks very impressive and threatening!
ReplyDeleteThanks! He's quite big (hence a 2p base rather than a 1p one); he's really a largeish (though skinny) 28mm orc. I was going to use him and his ilk as bugbears when this project was going to be 1/72, but as I've drifted up in scale, I'm going to be using Essex, Crooked Dice and old Citadel bugbears instead. He's the same height as those, but much more lightly built and with a significantly smaller head.
