This hefty fellow has had an upgrade to paintwork begun by my daughter some years ago. He's already featured in one of our Mordheim games. He's a Reaper Bones giant wererat.
A cool miniature, not only massive, but with a truly dynamic pose! We didn't know the sculptor, Jason Wiebe (we checked the Reaper website): thanks for letting us know. You also did an excellent paintjob: from the photo we would not have suspected that it was from the "Bones" range, the quality of which is sometimes a little rough. If we looked carefully, we can see an open wound on the side and the ribs underneath... how could this be interpreted?
He's a cracker. Nice sculpt and a lovely paint job. How does he compare to your average skaven bod?
ReplyDeleteThanks! He's absolutely massive. That's a 50mm base he's on. I'll try to get some comparison shots up soon.
DeleteWhat a beast!

Thanks very much! Yes, he's got a gaping wound in his flank: I suspect it's designed to show that he's very - and possibly unnaturally - tough.
DeleteYou've painted this one very well indeed.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Phil!
DeleteA fearsome looking opponent.
ReplyDeleteCheers! Yes, he's a big ol' beastie.
